I am an artist living and painting in the forested hills near Denver, Colorado. Since I was a little girl I have been bewitched by the patterns, textures and forms in nature and everyday life.
Honest, authentic art connects us as human beings. My expressive abstract paintings aim to refresh your joy—a sense that you are happy to be alive! I appreciate abstract art for the conversation it invites between the painter and the art lover, giving the viewer the opportunity to bring his/her own beliefs, thoughts, feelings, and meaning to the painting.
My paintings are inspired by the beauty of abstract forms, patterns, textures, and colors in nature (especially birds!), music, literature, and even medical imaging.
My paintings and hand-painted collages are created with professional artists’ materials that are fade resistant and archival. Finished pieces are coated with UV varnish to protect against sunlight and dust.
In 2020 – 2023, my donated paintings raised over $5,000 for food charities across the U.S.
My work is held in homes, workplaces and healthcare settings throughout the U.S.
